Pinnacle Foods Ltd was formed in 2007 following the merger of Wilsons Frosted Meats and Pinnacle Meats Ltd. Both companies had excellent track records in their own specialist field within the meat and poultry industry. The joining of the two companies brought together a wealth of knowledge and expertise from both sides.
Originally operating from two sites one in Gosport, Hampshire and other in Godalming, Surrey. In January 2011 the mince and diced production from Gosport along with the entire Godalming operation moved into new state-of-the-art production facility in Alton, Hampshire. The new premises have the latest freezing technology, fully automated mincing and packaging lines, on-site cold storage facilities, new product development (NPD) testing kitchens and an in-house laboratory with testing equipment for fat, protein and water.
Our Gosport facility is now dedicated to pork processing. Having additional production space has allowed us to further expand this important part of our business.
